Hello, my name is Mike Kagy, and I'm the craftsman behind Mason's Memories.
Every keepsake that leaves this workshop passes through my hands. I sand it, stain it, finish it, inspect it, and package it as if it were being made for my own family.
Because in many ways...
It is.
I never set out to build a business selling wooden keepsakes.
I set out to create something that honored the people, pets, and memories that shape our lives.
Over the years, I've come to realize something.
The person I am today wasn't built by one moment.
I was shaped by the people who loved me, challenged me, believed in me, and refused to let me quit.
My father taught me craftsmanship, generosity, and that helping others is one of life's greatest purposes.
My children have each taught me lessons that continue to guide me every day.
One taught me to be unapologetically myself.
One reminded me that faith and hope can carry us through life's hardest moments.
One showed me what true courage looks like and taught me never to take a single day for granted.
One taught me to slow down and find beauty in the little things that most people overlook.
And my wife reminds me every day that love, loyalty, and family are always worth fighting for.
Those lessons didn't just shape me.
They became the foundation of Mason's Memories.
Every keepsake I build carries a little piece of those lessons with it.
Because I don't believe I'm simply building boxes.
I'm helping families preserve the stories that matter most.
The photographs.
The letters.
The collars.
The medals.
The ticket stubs.
The little things that become priceless with time.
If you'd like to know more about the people who helped shape my life and this business, I'd be honored to share their stories with you.
Because before there was Mason's Memories...
There was a family.
And they made me the craftsman I am today.
